Demonstration is held against U.S. military intervention in Iraq.

Some 75 demonstrators gather on Boston Common to oppose renewed military intervention in Iraq. Organized by United for Justice and other groups, the demonstration is held to protest the President Barrack Obama’s decision to send some 300 military advisors into Iraq after combat troops had been withdrawn to meet the new threat posed by Sunni militants.
